ScottishPower Foundation

The ScottishPower Foundation has awarded a grant of up to £600,000 over three years from its Marine Biodiversity Fund to the Marine Biological Association to support the Big Rock Pool Challenge, enabling the expansion of volunteer-led monthly BioBlitz Battle events across the UK. This funding will strengthen community engagement in marine conservation, enhance biodiversity monitoring, and improve data-sharing processes with conservation managers, ensuring that local communities play a key role in protecting coastal ecosystems.
